Walter & Helen were married in Washington DC, when he returned from the Korean Conflict. Even though Walter & Helen were the same age, legally Helen was able to get married; however, Walter had to have his father sign for him to get married. They were married for 66 years. They had three children, Patricia, Jan, and Mark (deceased). Helen was a homemaker raising the family, her favorite pastime was working in the yard, she had a “green thumb” and had a beautiful flower garden.
Family will hold a private service in Rose Hill Burial Park
