

Died April 5, 2015 (Easter Sunday)to be home with his Heavenly Father.
He was a 1st generation German American.
John graduated from Kenmore High School when at 16 yrs. old, attended the University of Akron in September 1941 pursuing studies in Chemistry. He was drafted April 1943 into the Armed Forces. served in France and Germany. returned home to Akron in September 1945.
John was recently awarded "Knight of the Legion of Honor by the French Government in 2012 in gratitude for contributing to the Liberation of France.
He married Dorothy Louise Neff in April 1946.
John graduated from University of Akron June 1948, was hired by Firestone August 1948 in research where he developed 14 patents on latex paint and progressed to the position of Executive Vice-President of Materials.
After his retirement from Firestone in 1985, he and Dorothy traveled extensively including trips to Europe, India, Japan, Africa, Alaska and Australia..
Preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, John is survived by his children, John Musch, Joanne Musch and Jennifer Snyder and by his grandchildren Rebecca, Jonathan, Sarah Snyder, Nicholas Terrasi and Christina Scace and by his great-grandson, Noble Mennen and son-in-laws, Dean Snyder and Paul Terrasi.
John loved his Lord, taught Sunday School and was on many boards and committees.
