Kandi Ilene Waters

Kandi was born May 11, 1948 in Akron to the late Earl D. and Mildred June (Shearer) Leslie.  Kandi married Robert Waters on October 5, 1968 and spent 57 wonderful years together.  

Kandi was a member of St. Sebastian Catholic Church. She graduated from Buchtel High School and attended Akron University, where she met her husband.

Kandi is survived by her husband Robert Waters, her sons, Philip Waters and wife Joyce, John Waters and wife Amy, and grandchildren Vincent Waters, Austin Waters, and Amber Waters, brothers Jim Leslie and wife Diane, and Bob Leslie and wife Carrie, and many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Richard Leslie and wife Delores, sister Jean (Leslie) Woloch and husband Dave Woloch, and favorite aunt Lea Barnett. She leaves behind many friends.

Graveside services will be 12:30PM Tuesday, April 8th at Rose Hill Burial Park, Friends and family are invited to gather in the funeral home beginning at 12:15PM for a light lunch and a Celebration of Life for Kandi.
