

She was born on January 20, 1936, to Simeon Hardy and Elizabeth Hardy (née Valyo) in Youngstown, Ohio, and lived most of her adult life in Copley.
She was married to her beloved husband Gerald Rembowski for 70 years. Mary Ann and Gerald met in high school and have been together ever since. Mary Ann was a dedicated Registered Nurse for many years and loved caring for others. She balanced a demanding medical career with raising 5 children. She also had a crafty, artistic touch as well as possessing a talent for writing greeting cards.
Those who knew Mary Ann knew she had a tremendous love for the Lord and was deeply committed. In her younger years, she even thought about becoming a nun. In addition to her immense love for the Lord, Mary Ann's passion and fierce loyalty was her family, and nothing made her more happy than knowing each family member was happy. Mary Ann was known for being the peacemaker and she loved to laugh and reminisce. Mary Ann's wish is that her family continues to love and care for each other.
Mary Ann is survived by her spouse Gerald M Rembowski; her children Jerry Rembowski, Mary Ann Jones, David Rembowski, Jennifer Ball Collins, and Lorree Diamond-Phillips; and fourteen grandchildren Timothy Ball, Chrissy Rowland, Michael Jones, Tabitha Hornsby, Thomas Ball, Jeremy Rembowski, Brian Jones, Emily Wells, Nicholas Rembowski, Zachary Phillips, Claire Rembowski, Drake Phillips, Danika Phillips, and Sammy Jo Phillips.
She was preceded in death by her parents Simeon and Elizabeth Hardy; her brothers Robert Hardy, William James Hardy, Sim Hardy, and Dick Hardy; and her sisters Denise Hardy Wurzel and Rose Hardy Antonoff.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, located at 1676 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Copley, OH 44321, on February 13, 2026, at 11:00 am. The committal will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park, located at 3653 W Market St, Akron, OH 44333, on February 13, 2026.
