Michael Jay Krebs

Michael J. Krebs, age 33, of Bath Township, formerly of Chardon, passed away July 10, 2013. Michael was the devoted husband to the love of his life Megan (nee: Johnson) and proud father of three boys; Jalen Michael, Mason Ray, and Noah James. He was the beloved son of Jim and Jacki (nee: Schindler) and dear brother of Jimmy (Robin), John (Melissa) and Joe (Shelley) and loving grandson of Catherine and Harrison Krebs and Jack and Mary Schindler.

Michael was the loving son in-law of Mark and Deanna Johnson (nee: Falk), grandson in-law of Lois Carole (John deceased) Johnson, and Charles (deceased) and Dorothy Falk. He was a dear brother in-law of Sarah (Brian) Prentice, Rachel (Mark) Wilson, Hannah (Brian) Hummer and Rebekah Johnson (fiancé Ryan Ensign).

Michael was a loving nephew of many and adored uncle of Kayla, Colton, Caden, Jacob, Hannah, Houston, Donovan, Lincoln and Ayla.

Michael was the Assistant Superintendent of Fox Meadow Country Club in Medina. He was a devoted Christian, mentor to many, and was loved by all. He was a dedicated coach with his son’s baseball and soccer teams and an avid sports fan. He will be remembered as a dedicated father and husband who adored his children and nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends Monday, July 15, from 2 to 4pm and 6 to 8pm at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, where funeral services will be held Tuesday July 16, at 10am. Pastor Jeff Bogue of Grace Church in Bath will be officiating.

Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the “Michael Jay Krebs Memorial Fund” at any First Merit Bank, to benefit his children.
