Rick was born July 21, 1955 in Akron to the late C. Alan and Shirley June (Daer) Post.
Rick was a HVAC Technician and worked in Las Vegas for years before returning to the Akron area. Rick Enjoyed fishing at his Grandfather Clarence Post's Canadian cottage.
Rick was living at the Rehoboth House in Barberton.
Besides his parents, Rick is preceded in death by his brother Michael.
Rick is survived by his sister, Linda Post, sister-in-law Diane Post, niece and nephew Lisa and Matt Post and their families, uncle and aunt Joyce and C. David Post, and several cousins.
Private Entombment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at the Higher Ground Worship Center, 380 Wooster Rd. in Barberton with Pastor William Bridges, Officiant.
