

Richard “Rick” Wilt age 68 passed away January 15, 2015 at his home in Dellroy, Ohio surrounded by his family. A beloved husband, loving father, proud grandfather and genuine family man who will be forever missed.
Rick was born January 4, 1947 to the late Robert Charles and Violet Lee Wilt (nee: Snyder). He leaves behind his wife of 46 years Bonnie (nee: Wyatt) and their three children: Bobbi Adair and her husband Danny of Norton, Richard Wilt II and his wife Sofina and T.J. Wilt and his wife Amanda all of Akron. Rick was a proud and doting grandfather of 13: Richard A. Wilt III a United States Marine, Ashley, Austin, Britnee and Halle Wilt, Brittany Franks, Katie Mohn, Baleigh Graybill, Mackenzie and Caleb Adair, Ryan and Michael Finn and Shawn Finn of the United States Army and great-grandfather of Alice Wilt.
Rick will also be remembered by his brother Steven Wilt of Florida and sister Barbara Carper of Uniontown, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
Rick retired from Wooster Motorways where he worked as a mechanic. An avid hunter and fisherman, he always made time for his family.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 23, 7:30pm at CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 W. Market St. Fairlawn, where family will receive friends from 6:30pm until time of service.
Rick’s family wishes to thank family and friends for their love support and prayers during this difficult time and give a special thank you to Mercy Hospice staff for the care they had given their loved one.

Inurnment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park at a later date.
