Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her. She was a source of comfort and strength—a true safe place for her family. Her love was steady, selfless, and unconditional.
She is now reunited in Heaven with those who went before her, and we find peace knowing she is whole, healed, and resting in the arms of Jesus.
Shirley was the daughter of William Clinton Briggs, Emma and Bud Fulton.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Cradlebaugh, son Terry Cradlebaugh, brothers Tom and David Marsh, granddaughter Angela Miller Cradlebaugh, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Bing and Mary Cradlebaugh, and brother-in-law Jerry Cradlebaugh.
She is survived by her daughters, Christine Dancy (Curt), Cherie Ross (Jeff), and Wendy Lee (William). Shirley is also survived by her brothers Mike (Laurie) Fulton and Joe (Susan) Fulton, her uncle Clinton Bennett, and her sister-in-law Stella Stringer (Terry) and sister-in-law Virgina Cradlebaugh. Additionally, she is survived by 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
A visitation will be held at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home, located at 5000 Everhard Road NW, Canton, Ohio, 44718, on December 29, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will take place at the same venue on December 30, 2025, at 11:00 am followed by a memorial luncheon.
Shirley's final resting place will be Northlawn Memorial Gardens, located at 4724 State Rd, Peninsula.
