Wendell Beane

He was born in Orton, WV. on June 4, 1921 to the late Pell and Ethel Beane.

Wendell was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Army as a staff Sgt. He retired from Firestone Tire at the

age of 62 and was a church Deacon at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Spencer, WV

.

Wendell loved to garden, hunt, fish and ride his four wheeler on the hills of West Virginia.

Preceded in death by daughter Brenda, son Thomas, daughter in-law Andrea and son in- law James.

Wendell is survived by his beloved wife Lagretta, loving daughters Marilyn (Todd) Foster, Sharon (Bryan)

Hugi and Diane (Darren) Gilles, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 26th 7pm at the CATAVOLOS FUNERAL HOME 3653 West

Market Street, Fairlawn where the family will receive friends Tuesday, 5pm until time of service.

In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Broadman Baptist Church
