Dallas N. Reid

Dallas was born April 12, 1978 in Olney, IL. His parents are Steve and Norma (Reid) Sawyer of Albion, IL.

He was a Union Laborer for Laborers Local Union 1197 McLeansboro, IL and also a member of the American Legion in Albion. He was a free-spirited, outdoorsman. He loved to fish and hunt. He was an “artsy” person who enjoyed drawing, painting, and sculpting. He absolutely adored his daughter, Allee and was a very “in-the-moment” Daddy.

Dallas is survived by his daughter; Allee Reid of Albion, IL, parents; Steve and Norma Sawyer of Albion, IL, sister; DiElle (Billy) Rogers of Fairfield, IL, 2 brothers; Stephen (Kati) Sawyer II of Albion, IL, Mac (Kate) O’Daniel of New Harmony, IN, Grandma: Sandy Reid of Albion, IL, Grandma: Nancy Hardy of West Salem, IL, and Nieces and Nephews: Carrington Rogers, Kwade Sawyer, Oakley Sawyer, and Karmyn O’Daniel.

He was preceded in death by his Grandpa’s: N. R. Reid and “Bud” Hardy and 1 Aunt: Carla Reid-Mann and 1 Uncle Marc O’Daniel.

Dallas was an organ donor. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
