Eva J. Gainer

Eva was born May 15, 1924 in Browns, IL. Her parents were Guy and Susan (Garris) Rigg. She married Willard H. Gainer September 21, 1946 in Akron, OH and he preceded her in death in 1982.

Eva served in the Air Force/Army from 1944-1945. Eva worked for Good Year in Akron, OH. She was a Beautician, loved playing cards, she dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She then worked on an Assembly line at Champion Laboratories before retiring.

She is survived by one son; Willard Lee Gainer of Bone Gap, IL, sister; Ava Evans of Carmi, IL, 5 great grandchildren; Brittney Pond, Kelsey Murbarger, Mason Gainer, Kaylee Gainer, Chelsea Gainer and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two grandsons , 2 sisters and 4 brothers.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL. There will be full Military Rites at the Funeral Home after the service. Visitation will be Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home. A private burial will be at a later date.
