

She was born July 7, 1919 in Browns, Illinois to Lilly (Beagley) and Chester Michels. She married Ralph Crackel on February 4, 1939 in Henderson, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death in 1993.
Ferris was a homemaker, and her family was her life. She was a sweet, sweet lady who loved God and His Word. She was a God-loving, God-fearing woman with an excellent sense of humor.
She is survived by two daughters: Sue (Kenny) Grove of Claremont, Illinois and Marla Moody of Albion; one son, Gale Keith (Mary) Crackel of Grayville, Illinois; one sister, Imogene Kight of Allendale, Illinois; 21 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Lynden Crackel and daughter-in-law LaDonna Crackel, daughter Kay Tate, sister Nieta Hunley, brother Chester Michels, and grandson Jed Cunningham.
The funeral will be held Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, with visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Albion.
Memorials may be made to the Albion Free Methodist Church, with envelopes available at the funeral home.
