Jerome Shultz

Jerome was born in Richland County on January 22, 1943 to Edmund and Fannie Marie (Cazel) Shultz.

Jerome is a Veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

He married Carolyn Hortin on April 12, 1986 at the Ridge Church in Edwards County.

Jerome was a member of the Albion VFW and the Olney American Legion.

He worked for over 25 years at Citizens' National Bank of Albion in maintenance.

His hobbies included carpentering, wood working and electronics.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Albion, one daughter, Cassie (Matthew) Gluck of Belleville, IL, one son, Kevin Shultz of Albion, one grandson, Noah Gluck, two sisters: Barbra (Robert) McEachin and Anita Shultz, all of Olney, and three brothers: Thomas Shultz and James Shultz, both of Olney and Robert Shultz of Pismo Beach, CA.

Visitation will be held at Ingram Funeral Home in Albion, IL on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 4PM to 6PM. At 6PM family members will be sharing memories and at approximately 6:30PM, Military Rites will be conducted at the funeral home . To honor Jerome’s wishes, his body will be cremated with burial at a later date.

Memorials may be made to "Noah's Ark" with envelopes provided at the funeral home, or contributions can also be made at Citizens' National Bank in Albion.
