
Reverend Barbara Lee Bradford, of Albion, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Magnum Health & Rehab of Albion. She was born in 1924 to Walker and Leida Davis in Talladega, Alabama. In 1941 she married Yancy Bradford who preceded her in death in 1976.
Barbara came to Michigan in 1945 where she became the Minister in 1981 for the Missionary OutReach Church for Christ, she was the secretary for NAACP. Started the First Soup Kitchen in Albion and was very
active in all Community Affairs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Yancy, sons Yancy Jr. and Robert Staley, sister Ola Mae Dickey and brother Tommy Garrett Sr.
Family Hour will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 11:00A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Barbara Gladney officiating.
