Beverly J. Bearman

Beverly graduated from Albion High School as Salutatorian of the Class of 1948 at the age of 16 years old. She married Francis (Bud) Bearman, an Albion High School Classmate on July 22, 1950. Bud preceded her in death on September 6, 1998.

Bud and Bev have five children, all born in Albion.

Bev’s ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren were her pride and joy.

She is also survived by her sister Marlene Kracko of Albuquerque, NM; brother Richard (Gloria) Juday of Endicott, NY; brothers and sister-in-law Harold and Ruth Mills, Norman and Mary Bearman, Larry and Georgia Bearman, Fred Kaiser and many nieces and nephews.

Beverly was employed in the office of Lonergans/McGraw Edison from 1952-1974 (with time off to have her children). She was employed by Albion College from 1974-2002 and while working there she completed her BA degree, graduating at the age of 50. The last 25 years at Albion College she was the Faculty Secretary in the Department of Foreign Languages.

Beverly was a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Albion. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, quilting, crocheting, knitting, embroidery, and remodeling houses. She was a member of St. Paul’s Friendship League, Albion Knitter, Albion Garden Club, Entre Nous, and AALL.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 12, 2013, from 5PM to 8PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 13, at ST Paul Lutheran Church, 100 Luther Blvd, Albion, with Pastor Dennis Matyas officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Albion. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested St. Paul Lutheran Church or Albion College. www.kevintiddfuneralhome.com
