

Mrs. Beverly Ann Williams was born on January 2, 1956 in Albion, Michigan; to the late Mr. Herman Gibson Sr and Mrs. Evelyn (Dotson) Gibson. Beverly was the second child of 6 children born to her parents. She made her heavenly transition at age 64, on December 5, 2020 at DMC Harper in Detroit, Michigan. Beverly leaves a legacy as a true follower of Christ, an exemplary pillar of her community, and a lover and teacher of music. Beverly attended and graduated from Albion Senior High School. Beverly also served in the U.S Army. There she met and married her husband Eustice Williams on April 16, 1976 after just three weeks of dating. To their union were born four children: Jessica Williams (Brian Moore), Rebecca Williams, Tamara Williams (Edward Croft), and Eustice Matthew Williams. They also have two grandchildren: Amara Croft and Edward Croft II. Eustice and Beverly were inseparable for 44 years. Beverly was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family deeply. Beverly worked for Albion Public Schools, Starr Commonwealth and Albion Manor. Beverly also worked faithfully by her husband’s side (Pastor Eustice Williams) in ministry at Gethsemane Temple COGIC in Albion, Michigan. First Lady Beverly Williams wore many hats successfully and served as Minister of Music, Adult Choir President, Women's Department President, Minister’s Wives Circle President and Home & Foreign Missions President. The Gethsemane Temple Church of God In Christ Music department was enhanced greatly under her leadership as the Minister of Music. In God’s kingdom, there was no job too great or two small. If something was needed, Beverly got it done. Beverly loved working with children as a teacher and daycare owner. She also enjoyed drawing, music, reading, and the Christmas Season. She was an avid homemaker, a great cook and very creative. She loved spending time with her husband and children. Beverly loved to laugh and kept her audience captivated with her witty analogies, stories and jokes. She was very positive and always greeted everyone with a smile and a hello. Beverly leaves to cherish her memory: Her husband, Pastor Eustice Williams of Albion, MI, two daughters Jessica Williams of Detroit, MI; Tamara Williams of Lansing, Michigan; son, Eustice Matthew Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana; two sisters, Ronda Gibson of Jackson, Michigan and Karen Gibson-Riddle (Ed) of Lansing, Michigan; brother, Kevin Gibson of Melvindale, Michigan; four sister-in-laws, Marianne Gibson of Lansing, MI, Brenda Bishop of San Diego, California, Danetta Williams (RL Manuel) of Indianapolis, Indiana, Celestine Williams-Crenshaw (Carl) of Indianapolis, Indiana; brother-in-law Damon Williams of Indianapolis, Indiana and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and colleagues. Proceeding Beverly in death was her daughter Rebecca Williams, her parents Herman Sr and Evelyn Gibson, and two brothers, Herman Gibson, Jr and Michael Gibson.
