Bobbie Lynn Lewis

Bobbie Lynn Lewis, age 79, of Jackson, MI passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 19th, 2023. He was born on April 29, 1943 in Piggott, Arkansas to Paul and Marcella (Shultz) Lewis.

Bob was a hardworking man who loved his wife and family. One of Bob’s biggest enjoyments in life was getting into shenanigans with his grandchildren. He loved to pamper his wife, Burita, and going out to eat. He took great pride in his yard work, his lawn had to be perfect. He loved his pets, especially his dog Bo. He enjoyed motorcycles, family trips, and Sunday drives.

He worked at Eatons Corp. in the Marshall plant where he retired after 20 years.

Bobbie is survived by his wife, Burita (Pace) Lewis, whom he married on May 3rd, 1969. They shared 54 years of wedded bliss. He is also survived by his daughters; Yvette (Jeff) Warner, Parma, MI, Shelly (Mike) Megison, Jackson, MI; grandchildren, Jennifer (Zack) Marquart, Eric (Sumar) Gochanour, Auburn, IN, Joshua (Cara) Hoyt, Allen, MI, Haylee (Austin) Megison, Newerk, OH, Tiffany (Caleb) Reason, Lansing, MI, Steven Hoyt, Jackson, MI; great-grandchildren Jacob Marquart, Cheavelle Marquart, Haydin Shockley, Billy Gochanour, Austin Gochanour. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and one sister. He is also preceded by his firstborn daughter, Brenda Burns, who passed on March 2nd, 2023.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 23rd, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home located at 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Service will be held the following day, Friday, March 24th, 2023 at Christ Apostolic Church at 501 North Superior Street, Albion, MI 49224.
