Donald Ray Staten

Donald R. Staten of Springport went home to be with the Lord on Monday, October 17, 2011 at his residence. He was born in 1938 to Benjamin and Sarah Staten in Williamson, West Virginia. In September of 1982 he married Phyllis Tackett who survives.

Donald was a Foreman at Hayes Albion for 40 years. He was a member of the Fellowship

Baptist Church in Albion, he enjoyed the out of doors, gardening, hunting and especially

his family.

Donald is survived by:

Wife- Phyllis Staten of Springport

Daughters- Deborah (Donald) Campbell of Ohio

Teresa Mitchell of Albion

Patti (Rick) Czernik of Rives Junction

Linda (Rob) Burch of Missouri

Sons- Aaron (Lisa) Staten of Litchfield

Barron (Caroline) Staten of Indiana

(18) Great Grandchildren

Special Great Grandchildren- Britney and Alexis

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Frank Mances, son James Steven Staten and a

daughter Donna Staten.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, October 20, 2011 from 2:00-4:00 and

6:00-8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224.

Funeral Service will be Friday, October 21st at 1:00P.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Earl Greer and Jim Snyder officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens.
