Dorothy Ida Pieske

Dorothy I. Pieske, 86 of Jackson passed away August 9, 2011 at Ganton Countryside Care Center in Jackson. She was born December 28, 1924 in Albion, Michigan to Reinhard and Valeta (Clare) Tech. She was married to Robert Pieske on September 16, 1950 in Albion and he preceded her in Death July 25, 2009.

During the War she worked at Eaton Corp in Marshall and at the Parker Inn in Albion as a Roof Spotter. She was the Comptroller at Starr Commonwealth. She had attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Albion. She enjoyed Crocheting and loved Dogs.

She is survived by 2 Sons Daniel (Brenda) Pieske of Clark Lake; Timothy Pieske of Concord; 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Besides her Husband and Parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Eileen Voss.

According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Friday August 12, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224 with Rev. Larry Sandusky officiating. The Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Friday August 12, 2011 from 10:00 A.M. until Service time. Burial will follow services at Albion Memory Gardens Cemetery- Albion Township, MI
