Elizabeth Annette Rose VanRooyen

Elizabeth Annette Rose (Bommarito) VanRooyen, age 54 of St. Johns formerly of Albion passed away Friday, July 8, 2011 in Lansing, Michigan. She was born August 4, 1956 in Albion, Michigan to Joseph and Sharon J. (Snyder) Bommarito. On May 3, 1980 she married Rick VanRooyen who survives.

She had just started her career as a Chef by graduating with a Bachelors Associates from LeCordon Bleu College in Chicago, Illinois. Over the years she had taken many art classes at Lansing Community College having a true passion for all arts along with a love of gardening and of taking care of her family.

Elizabeth is survived by:

Husband- Rick Van Rooyen of St. Johns

Daughters- Tamara Dawn Lanphaar

Alexis Salisbury

Sons- Luke (Dale Mitchell) VanRooyen

Alexander (Jessica Speils) VanRooyen

Jacob (Rebecca Chippewa) VanRooyen

She was preceded in death by her mother Sharon J. Bommarito, brothers Anthony and

Samuel T. Bommarito.

According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service

Friday, July 15, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Father Joe Gray officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, July 15, 2011 from 2:00 P.M. until time of service.
