Ellarae Wackenhut

Ellarae (Krugman) Wackenhut, age 93 of Parma passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at Allegiance Health in Jackson, Michigan. She was born in May 1918 in Sandstone Township, Michigan to Raynor and Myrla (Gillett) Moe. She was first married to Everett Krugman who preceded her in death in 1984 then she married Richard Wackenhut who preceded her in death in 1992.

Ellarae was a lifelong resident of Parma. She sold Real Estate for 17 years and also had worked for

I.G.A. in Parma. Ellarae was a very active member of the Parma United Methodist Church and had over the years enjoyed golf, antiques and quilting.

Sons- Ron (Nina) Krugman of Ft. Myers, FL

Daryl (Mickey) Krugman of Tucson, AZ

Step-Daughter- Mary (Phil) Richardson of Brooklyn

Step-Son Tom(MaryLou) Wackenhut Cincinnatti, OH

Grandchildren Clarke, Chris, Kyle, Mark, Kim, Tammy, Karen, Jenny, Jessie, Josh and Jordan

Many Great Grandchildren

Brother- Duane “Bud” (Joanne) Moe of Marshall

Sister in Law Phyllis Moe of Kalamazoo

She was preceded in death by her parents Raynor and Myrla Moe, brother L.D. Moe,a stepdaughter Sandra Newcomb in 1999 and Step son in law Al Newcomb

According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 11:00 A.M with a gathering of friends and family starting at 10 am until time of service at the Parma United Methodist Church, 100 East Main Street, Parma, Michigan 49269. Burial of Cremains will be at the Fairview Cemetery, Tompkins Township, MI.
