Emily Denise Byrd

Emily Graduated from Albion Senior High in 1976 and then worked for McGraw in Albion, later she moved to Lansing and worked for Patterson Lake Products, Kelsey Hayes and Magna Interiors as a production associate, she also earned her Real Estate Salesperson License from Coldwell Banker Associates. In November of 2010 she and her husband relocated to Georgia where she became a faithful member of the Christian Women’s Connection Group, where she attended Bible Study and group discussions.

Emily was preceded in death by her brothers Wilford (Ray) Bean, Harold and Tony, and her sisters Debbie Lynn Bean and Ronia Marie Bean.

Emily went to be with the lord on January 15. 2015, after a long and courageous battle with diabetes and complication from a recent hospital stay. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Theodore Byrd, four sisters, Mattie P. Dean, Wilma Thomas, Anna Vines all of Lansing, and Sarah Oliver of Ann Arbor; two brother in-laws, Freddie Thomas and John Vines, both from Lansing; mother-in-law Ira Byrd, Sister-in-law Dora Byrd and brothers-in-law Sammie Byrd, Terry Byrd and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service will be held Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11:00AM at the

J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224

with Rev. Donald L. Phillips III officiating.

Interment will follow at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion.
