

Floyd Oliver, age 65 of Albion, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at his residence. He was born November 12, 1948 to Daniel and Ardelia (Floyd) Oliver in Luxahoma, Mississippi. On July 10, 1999 he was united in marriage with Wanda Lucille Collins. She preceded him in death. Floyd attended Coldwater High School in Coldwater, Mississippi and later moved to Albion, Michigan in 1968. He was employed by Dunkin Nut Factory and then went to work for Hayes Albion. He retired from there after 29 years of service. Floyd loved to sing and listen to Gospel Music. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
He leaves to cherish a legacy of five children: Markiea Boler, Battle Creek, MI

Special cousin & friend Pastor J.C. Oliver, Sr., special friends Raymond Everson and Fred Artis, special brother-in-law Steve Collins.
A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents Will Kin & Rosie (Coach) Oliver and Dee & Lilly (Dandridge) Floyd, wife Wanda Oliver , stepson Todd McCoy, sister Rosie May Atkins and brother, Daniel Oliver.
Family Hour will be Friday, February 21, 2014 from 11:00AM – 12:00PM at
J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224.
Funeral Service will be held Friday, February 21, 2014 at 12:00 (Noon) at the funeral home with Pastor J.C. Oliver officiating. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Albion, Michigan.
