Garry Lee Trumble age 66 of Parma passed away at home on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born in Jackson on August 31, 1958 the son of Richard K. and Miladore “Millie” (Barnes) Trumble. His mother survives him; he was preceded in death by his father, his brother, Rick and his first wife, Kathy.
On April 7, 1984, Garry was united in marriage to Terry Risner (whom he proudly called his “Blue Ribbon Bride”) and she survives. In addition to his loving wife of 40 years, Garry also leaves his daughter, Heather (Todd) Prater, granddaughter, Mahala Prater, sister, Pat Rouse and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family, friends and his loving, loyal, yellow lab companion, “Boss”.
Garry was a loving, generous, kind man, always willing to help others; when he didn’t have it to give, he gave it anyway. He cherished time spent with his family, friends and loved having a good time, especially while enjoying a beer and a smoke. He was a nature lover who enjoyed fishing, hunting, loved animals and lived his life to the “fullest”. He was everybody’s favorite person, will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He will forever be remembered for his unique way of saying things that his family and close friends referred to as “Garryisms”.
Garry’s family will welcome visitors at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion on Thursday, September 19th from 4-8PM and on Friday, September 20th, 2024 from 10AM until the time of his service at 12PM with Nathan Drumhiller officiating. He will be laid to rest in Spring Arbor Cemetery.
Following the services, a celebration of life will be held at the Big 9 Sportsman’s Club where Garry was a lifetime member.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for future designation or to a local animal rescue or shelter of the donor’s choice.
