Gloria Jean Potter

Gloria Jean Potter, age 59 of Jackson formerly of Homer passed away at Allegiance Health after a lengthy battle with Multiple Scleroses on Sunday, May 22, 2011. Gloria was born to Elwood K. and Pearlnita E. (Wildt) Potter on September 11, 1951 in Albion MI. She was a 1970 graduate of Homer High school and went on to graduate from Wrights Beauty Academy for cosmetology in 1972. Gloria worked at Lena’s Beauty Nook in Marshall MI until failing heath forced her to retire. When she was able to Gloria enjoyed cooking for friends and family and in recent years had enjoyed knitting.

Gloria is survived by:

Brothers- Robert (Sandy) Potter of Jackson

Paul (Jenny) Potter of Homer

Many Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents.

According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation.

A Memorial Service celebrating Gloria’s life will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Homer United Methodist Church, 101 East Adams Street, Homer, Michigan 49245 with Pastor Tom Fox officiating.

The family has asked that Memorials be given to the Multiple Scleroses foundation
