
Forrest Adult Foster Care in Marshall, Michigan. He was born in 1921 to Palmer B. and
Elsie Huffman in Perrysburg, Ohio. In 1943 he married Rachel Huston who preceded him
in death in 2008.
Howard was Self Employed as a Produce Farmer from 1945 to present, he also had taught at
Homer High School. He was a WWII Veteran in the Army Air Corp as a Pilot Instructor.
He was a member of the Homer Presbyterian Church, Farm Bureau, Potatoes & Onions Growers
Association, Contributor of Michigan Food Bank, enjoyed watching his family playing
Basketball, and enjoyed music. He was very civic orientated.
Howard is survived by:
Daughter- Jana (Doug Hath) Kurrle of Owosso
Sons- Alan (Corlinda) Huffman of Homer
Damon Huffman of Flushing
Kevin (Debra) Huffman of Marshall
Jaimie (Alma) Huffman of Texas
(12) Grandchildren
(8) Great Grandchildren
Sister- Mary Peterson of New Mexico
Sister-in-law- Sarah Huffman of Ohio
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Rachel and 6 brothers.
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, June 21, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at
the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral
Service will be Friday, June 22, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church,309 S. Sophia
Street, Homer, Michigan 49245 with Pastor Tim Marvil officiating.
Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery, Homer Township, Michigan.
