

James Carl Mullins, age 87 of Albion passed away peacefully in his home under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. He was born December 24, 1932 in Beefhide, KY the son of Calvin and Nancy (White) Mullins and they preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by siblings: John Clyde Mullins, Wesley Howard Mullins, Sarah Holsinger and Elsie Topp.
Jim served our country honorably in the U.S. Army. On May 14, 1959, he married Phyllis Staley in Albion and she survives.
Jim worked at Corning Glass until their closure and then worked for Decker Nut Manufacturing until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting in his younger years, fishing with his brother Clyde, playing pool, mini golf, shuffle board and belonged to the Albion Shuffle Board Club. He was very good with his hands and enjoyed crafting things, especially with wood. He also enjoyed gardening and mowing lawns.
Jim leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 61 years, Phyllis Mullins, 4 children: Daniel (Rosemarie) Womble, Juanita Cornell, Debbie (Michael) Hunt, Carol (Paul Gentner) Bradley, 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and sister, Jossie Hatten.
Jim’s family will Celebrate his Life on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 beginning with visitation at 12PM until the time of service at 2PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion
with Pastor Earl Martin officiating. He will be laid to rest in Albion Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
