Josephine Gonzales

Josephine Gonzales, age 89 of Battle Creek, formerly of Albion passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at Oaklawn Hosptial in Marshall, Michigan. She was born in 1922 to Jose and Mary (DeJesus Pillasenor) Cevbantez in Texas. In 1945 she married Fredrico Gonzales who preceded her in death on March 20, 1984.

Josephine came to Albion in 1965.She was a Homemaker; She was a member of St. John Catholic Church-Albion; She enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening, and she loved to dance and sing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters

Visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 10:00 A.M until 1:00 P.M.

at St. John Catholic Church, 1020 Irwin Avenue, Albion, Michigan 49224, With the Rosary being recited at 11:00 A.M. at the Church. The Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the church with Father Joe Gray officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.
