Joyce Ann Ferris

Joyce grew up in Albion, MI and graduated from Albion High School and Jackson Business

College. She worked for State Farm Insurance for over 20 years before leaving in 2017 due

to illness. Joyce was a happy adventurous soul and enjoyed new experiences and places,

spending time with family and cuddling with her beloved fur babies. She also loved motorcycle

riding.

Joyce is survived by her husband Duane Ferris; sister, Dawn (Joe) Delapas of Albion, brothers

Jamie (Amy) Pelfrey and David Pelfrey of Albion; Brian Pelfrey of Grand Rapids, Frank (Jan)

Pelfrey of Holland and brother-in-law Seth Dickson of Grand Rapids. She was preceded in

death by her parents David and Delores Pelfrey and brothers Ronnie, Kenneth and Paul Pelfrey.

Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, March 4, 2022 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at the

J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224 with Funeral Service starting

at 1:00pm with Pastor Al Henson officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Albion.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, Animal Rescue or Animal Shelter.
