Lloyd Caudill

Age 87 passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 in Stockbridge. He was born July 28, 1928 in Lambrie, Kentucky the son of Medford and Martha (Howard) Caudill. He married Alfair Prater in Jackson on November 16, 1956 and she survives. Also surviving are 8 children: Furlen (Robin) Caudill, Ethel (Tracy) Lawrence, Lisa (Gerald) Bogan, Jewell (Chris) Bremiller, Agnes Caudill, Steven Caudill, Medford (Michelle) Caudill, Loss (Alice) Caudill; 21 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, brother, Jackie (Cindy) Caudill, sisters, Pauline Pranger and Lonamae Caudill. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter, Caroline and siblings: Mary Cuda, Mitchell Caudill, Medford Caudill, Jr. and Jimmy Caudill.

Lloyd worked in the coal mining industry, enjoyed the outdoors, loved solar lights and yard ornaments and working in his yard as well as working on cars. Lloyd was a hard worker and took pride in being able to provide for his large family. He also enjoyed fishing.

Lloyd’s family will celebrate his life on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Village Hope Church, 100 E. Main St., Parma, MI. Burial will follow at Chapel Cemetery in Parma. The family will receive visitors on Monday, August 17th from 12-2 PM and 6-8 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion.
