Loren Jean Harris

She had worked at Mid America in Jackson for 7 Years and then received her Bachelors degree in Family Life Education, later working at Jackson Call Center for 4 Years; Seagway in Jackson for 3 years in Crisis Intervention; The Jackson Crittendon Home in Jackson for Teenage Pregnancy as a Counselor. She was a member of Agape Christian Center Church in Jackson.

Loren enjoyed shopping, reading, and spending time with her granddaughter.

Her survivors include: 1 daughter Kaprisha Ashanti Shenay Harris of Albion; 2 sons Kyle Edward Deloren Harris and Kannan Carl Langston both of Albion; 1 very special granddaughter Kylee Ann Sarai Harris; her significant other of 25 years Carl Edward Langston, also of Albion; her mother Beverly (John Johnson) Harris of Jackson; 1 brother Bobby Lewis (Tiye) Harris Jr., also of Jackson and her grandparents Henderson (Lula) Harris Sr. many aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her father Bobby Lewis Harris and maternal grandmother Alberta Jean Betts.

According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday August 19, 2011 at 12:00 (Noon) at Bethel Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, MI 49224, with Rev. Michael Bruce Poole officiating.
