

Norman Robert Ross age 79 of Concord passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his home. He was born August 18, 1937 in Allston, Michigan the son of Joseph and Marie (Sullivan) Ross. He served our country in the U.S. Army and was employed as Plant Manager with Advanced Packaging. After retirement, he and Betty owned and operated Norm’s Restaurant in Homer. Norm enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, gardening, cooking, working in the woods, driving his tractor, going to the Casino and teasing his companion, Betty.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his best friend and love of 31 years, Betty Judy, children: Carrie Hancock, Ronald (Joyce) Ross, Lynda (Steven) Elenbaas, Chad (Carrie) Ross, Cheryl (Jack) Beddell, Wayne (Dianna) Judy, Monty (Fiancé, Helen) Judy, Shelley (Mark) Butler, Marla (Dean) Wade, 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, siblings: Larry “Buzz” (Van) Ross, Art (Karen) Ross, Donna (Robert) Store and Jean (Waldo) Savala. He is preceded in death by a son, Marcus Judy, brother, Clyde and sisters: Alice, Betty and Joy.
Norm’s family will celebrate his life on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 with visitation beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a service at 4:00 PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. Cremation will follow and burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Cemetery in Homer. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Calhoun County.
