
Paul O. Zick, age 94 of Albion, a loving, devoted, husband and father, passed away Monday, October 1, 2012 at Tendercare of Marshall, Michigan. He was born December 29, 1917 in Albion, Michigan to Herman C. and Anna (Kabel) Zick. On January 23, 1942, he was married to Ruth Palmer in Ann Arbor, Michigan and she preceded him in death November 8, 2011.
He served during WWII with the U.S. Army. He was a Rural Mail Carrier with the Albion Post Office for 35 years, retiring in 1972.He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Marshall.
He is survived by his children, Nancy (Dennis) Korenchuk of Howell, MI; Gerald (Wendy) Zick of Burlington, IA; Carol (Tom) Masternak, and Bonnie (Mike) Morgan both of Albion, MI; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his Parents; 3 Brothers His twin brother Luther, Fred, and Gerald.
According to his wishes, Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 6, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church, 135 W. Green Street, Marshall, MI 49068 with Rev. Karl Strenge officiating. The Family will receive family and friends from 2:00 P.M. until time of service at the Church. Burial of Cremains will follow in Clarence Center Cemetery.
