Richard "Ri'Shard" David Showers II

Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

He was born on August 16, 1988, to Richard (deceased) and Elvarene Showers, in Albion, Michigan.

He was baptized in the Pentecostal Church of God, with the confession of Jesus Christ. RJ worked for Tenneco Plant of Marshall, Mich.

RJ attended Albion Public School and graduated in 2006. He played football as the Wild Cats of Albion. He ran track with the Blazer Track Team, under the leadership of Coach Dan Davis. RJ had a passion and love for playing the piano, which he taught himself.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory, his mom Elvarene Showers of Albion, Michigan 3 children, Tyrell Showers of Jackson, Tyaire and Malaya Lopez of Albion. His siblings; 2 sisters, Te’Sha (Santos) Perez of Albion, Tiffany (fiance` Orlando) Showers, 2 brothers; Ryan Showers of Albion, Jonathan Parker of Kentucky, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many relatives and friends who loved him dearly.

RJ will truly be missed.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Gloria Francis and Henry Williams Sr. His paternal grandparents Jeanette and Jimmy Showers, and his brother Quinton Williams.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday May 14, 2022 at 12:00PM at Grace Temple Church,

711 Grace Street, Albion, MI 49224 with Pastor Steve Williams’s officiating, family hour

will start at 11:00am prior to the service. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens.
