Robin Faye West

Robin Faye West (Bronson) age 75 formerly of Homer passed at her daughter’s home in Litchfield on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 under the loving care of her family and Oaklawn Hospice. She was born in Homer on July 21, 1946 the daughter of Robert and June (Hamman) Bronson. On October 3, 1964, Robin was united in Marriage to Leonard West and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2018 after 53 years of marriage.

Robin was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who worked as a rural mail carrier in Homer for 26 years. She was an officer in TOPS, a 4-H leader for many years, enjoyed sewing, quilting, birds, flowers, reading, listening to audiobooks, but most of all enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Robin leaves to cherish her memory 2 daughters, Valerie (Dave) Coler, Tammy (Todd) Rockwell, son, Anthony "Tony" (Penny) West, 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren with another on the way, siblings, Julie (Russell) Waring, Dennis (Pam) Bronson, Steven (Mona) Bronson, sister-in-law, Kathleen Bronson.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Jerry (Teresa) Bronson and Joseph Bronson, grandson, Tad Coler and 2 great-grandchildren, Elijah and Elliott Rockwell.

According to Robin’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there are no services scheduled (she didn’t want to put anyone at risk of getting COVID by having a gathering at this time). Memorial contributions may be directed to the Homer Library.
