He was born August 4th, 1943 to Albert and Minnie (Rowley) in Albion.
Roger had many hobbies: coon hunting, motorcycles, race cars, fishing and ice racing. He worked at the Albion Malleable for many years.
He attended Albion Schools. He loved to travel to Arizona, where he met his wife, Linda. Roger also served his country proudly as a United States Marine.
He had many friends, good buddies Rusty, Wess, and Tina.
Roger is survived by the love of this life, Linda. His children; Barbie and Phil, Susie and Kevin, and Terry and Nancy. As well as his grandchildren, Amanda, Mathew, and Tanner.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Minnie Skinner, his brother Pete, sisters Gail and Marylee, and son Roger Butch Skinner.
Roger will be missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 1:00pm at the
Eagles Aerie #1265 in Albion, MI with Military Honors by V.F.W. Post #6056 Springport and
the United States Marines.
