

Ronald David Fisher, age 79 of Albion passed away Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was born March 4, 1935 to Charles Fisher and Kristine (Powers) Fisher-Martin. He married Marylee Skinner on May 3, 1955 who preceded him in death.
He attended Battle Creek Public Schools and Albion Public Schools, where he graduated.
He is a lifelong resident of the Albion area. He worked 12 years at Union Steel Products
and 33 years at Gordon Martin Builders, Inc. as both an employee and owner.
His joys in life were simple, hunting, fishing, bowling and traveling with Marylee.
But most of all his biggest joy was spending moments with his family and friends.
He is cherished and remembered as he was a good son, husband, father, grandfather
and friend. Seeing new babies in the family always brought a big smile to his face.
Ron and Marylee raised their family with the values to follow the “golden rule”
and to be a “good samaritan.”
He was preceded in death by his biological father, mother and wife. He is survived
by his step-father; Gordon R. Martin; sons Randy (Rose) Fisher, Douglas Fisher;
sisters Kandy and Darlene; brother Charles Jr.; (5) grandsons, (8) great-grandchildren
and many loved cousins, nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Albion
Elk’s Lodge #1798.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014
From 5:00-8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive,
Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, August 21
at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
The family requests memorial contributions to be made to the “Friends of the
Bohm Theatre” in Albion, Michigan.
