He was employed by Hayes Albion for 29 years & 9 months.

He is survived by his beloved wife & high school sweetheart Jackie “Little Mama” (Bartley) Newsome of Albion; Children- Daniel “Rooster” (Jaclyn) Bartley of Richland; Michelle “Cute” (Daniel) Bird of Vicksburg; Stafford Justin “Lovie” (Lisa) Newsome of Jackson; grandbabies, Stafford Duane “Little Lovie” Newsome of Jackson and Raquel Lee “Lovette” Bird of Vicksburg.

Stafford loved his family and was so proud of them, especially his grandbabies. He loved spending time with his family, going for rides out in the country “loafing” around, he loved to hunt, he also enjoyed setting up at the flea market, known to many as the “Knife Man”. His family is heartbroken.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 from 5:00 – 8:00PM at

the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Services

will be held Wednesday, January 18th at 1:00PM at the funeral home with Elder Estill Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow at Albion Memory Gardens.
