Susan Kay Taylor

Susan Kay Taylor age 69 of Jackson passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 in Jackson under the loving care of her family and Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice. She was born October 12, 1952 in Jackson, MI the daughter of Matthew and Eleanor (Bahr) Taylor and they preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Lee Taylor.

Susan worked for the State of Michigan, Department of Corrections for many years until her retirement in 2009. She loved traveling, going to the casino, going out to eat but most all, enjoyed the company of her friends and family.

She leaves to cherish her memory her companion for 30+ years, Robert Scripter, his 4 boys: Kevin, Phillip, Paul and Matthew, grandsons: Tyler, Caelan, Nikiah, brother, Allen Taylor, niece, Jessica (Amanda) Good, maternal aunt, Wilma Bahr, several paternal aunts and uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for Susan will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 6PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion with Pastor Paul Koehn officiating. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
