Theresa Idell Woods

and friends August 11, 2014, after a short but courageous fight with cancer.

Theresa was a 1988 graduate of Homer High School. She worked as a clerical

Associate at A & J North Butler Store for several years, being a loving mother

to her children, Mary, Daniel and Kevin and loving fiancé to Kevin Thacker,

the love of her life. Theresa loved to go to garage sales, riding four wheelers

in the mountains in Kentucky, watching her kids play football, basketball and

ride their four wheelers. Soaking up the sun by the pool, canning her garden bounty,

visiting with her family and taking care of her dogs were the small things in

life that made her happy.

Born October 26, 1969 in Albion, Michigan to Daniel Woods (Hyden, KY formerly

of Homer, MI) and Mary Woods (Hazard, KY and Homer, MI). Her father

survives her. She leaves behind her fiancé Kevin Thacker Sr., her daughter

Mary Cronkite, and two sons, Daniel Cole and Kevin Thacker Jr., step-son

Dominick Frazier. Along with one sister Cindy (Ron) Fredericks of Englewood, OH,

two brothers James Gibson of Coldwater, MI, Sherman Woods of Homer, MI, as

well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins and friends

to mourn her loss.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday, August 14, 2014 from

2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811

Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Service will be held Friday,

August 15, 2014 at 11:00AM with visitation at 10:00AM prior to service

with Pastor Allen Henson officiating.
