

Virgil was united in marriage to his love, Janet Thomas, on September 1, 1973. This year they celebrated 44 years of marriage. Of this union, they were blessed with four beautiful children. Scott (Sonja) Thomas, Selena (Arthur Jr.) Harris, Valencia
Taylor and Virgil Taylor II (Traci Blair) and (his buddy Canine, Carmello).
Virgil loved his family and always wanted the best for them. Virgil, together with his lovely wife, enjoyed gardening; fishing and together their hospitality touched many people. Virgil was a Vietnam Veteran; he retired from Hayes Albion after 32 years of service.
Virgil leaves behind the family he cherished; Wife Janet Taylor, son Scott (Sonja) Thomas (Atlanta, GA), daughter Selena (Arthur Jr.) Harris (Jackson, MI), daughter Valencia Taylor (Albion, MI), son Virgil Taylor (Tracy, CA). Grandchildren; Shaneya,
Kornti, Kamani, Kanea, Shania, Thailan, two great grandchildren Jaden and Jalil. Siblings, sister Patricia Taylor and brother John B. Taylor, from (Albion, MI), sister Verenie (Baby) Davis (Flint, MI). Special children; Elijan Armstrong, Jr., Tina Etchison, Earlester Monroe, Sabrina (Jones) Nolen, Alicia Showers, Cedric Joiner, Regina Richardson and Ronnie Williams, Jr., Lifelong Friends Michael Scott, Tyrone Wallace, Kenny Mickle, Lawrence Dickson, Phillip Johnson, Randy Johnson, Joe Davis (deceased), Ray Scott, Jerry Lee (deceased), Allen Selby and Calvin Allen.
Virgil was preceded in death by his parents John B and Evelyn Taylor, brothers Vern Taylor and Theodore Taylor and sister Loretta Whitney.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday October 25, 2017 at 11:00AM at Bethel Baptist Church, 523 Washington Street, Albion, with Pastor F. H. Alexander, Jr. officiating. Family hour will take place one hour prior to services. Interment will follow at Albion Memory Gardens. The family is being served by J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion.
