Chris lived a life defined by courage, generosity, and a boundless love for the people and passions that shaped him. A proud member of Morristown Hamblen Volunteer Fire and Rescue, he dedicated himself to serving others with a selfless heart. Whether he was swimming, behind the wheel of a fast car, surrounded by animals, or simply spending time with those he loved most, Chris embraced every moment fully.
Above all, he cherished being a father. His kindness, warmth, and steady presence touched everyone who knew him.
Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Debby Dean, and his nephew, Tyler Shaver. He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Hickman; his daughter, Zayleigh Hancock; his father, Jeff (Cherie) Hancock; siblings Nikki (Shaun) Russell and Kenny (Travis) Hancock; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, Tipsy and Luna, who were constant sources of joy and comfort.
The family will hold services at a later date.
