Glenda June Ashburn

Glenda June Ashburn, age 79, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Glenda was a long time member of Branville Baptist Church of Knoxville, TN. She enjoyed reading, cooking, spending time with her family and taking care of others, you could see this by the career she chose to dedicate her life to, she was a registered nurse for 30 years. Glenda was truly loved and will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege to call her friend. Glenda was greeted at the gates of Eternity by her parents Buster and Hazel Crockett; son, James Ashburn Jr.; sister, Pat Neal; 3 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memory and mourn her passing her loving and dedicated husband of 63 years James Kenneth Ashburn; son, Randall Keith Ashburn; daughter, Cynthia Marie (Steve) Kirk; grandchildren, Tyler James Ashburn, Alexandria Elaine Black, Dillon Gene Kirk, Dalton Randall Kirk, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
