Robert Littleton Marcus

On Wednesday, July 14th as the sun began to set, Robert passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family who will continue to honor his legacy. Robert served in the Navy and was a long-distance Communicator for AT&T for almost 40 years. He was preceded in death by his mothers, Evelyn Pierce; father, Manly Marcus Jr.; brother, Fred Marcus; grandparents; Lillian Kennedy, Charles Kennedy, Manly Marcus and Ethel Marcus.

Robert is survived by his wife, Carol Marcus; sons, Jeff (Janet), Daniel (Teresa) Marcus, Robert (Desiree) Marcus, Eric (Kyla) Marcus; daughter, Sherri Marcus and husband, David Humphrey; brothers and cousins. In all Robert loved his children, many grandchildren, and great- children with one due in September.

A private memorial will be held for the family at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens in Alcoa, Tennessee. Robert's beliefs, values, and morals will continue to live through his wife, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We will forever love and remember you- we will stand taller and stronger knowing you are now watching over us- always believing.
