Sue, Kathy, Lisa and family....
My deepest condolences at the loss of your Dad. The video tribute was very touching, with some pictures bringing back memories from years ago. I remember meeting Dad for the first time in your Massillon home and sharing many stories with him about his work at Ore-Ida. I also recall the freezer being stocked with everything Ore-Ida. He was such a good man, who loved you all.

I remember him fondly and pray for you in the weeks to come.

Ron was the best brother in law. He was a friend of a soldier who lived where we lived on Fidelis Way in Brighton MA. My sister, Betty, was fiddling with another lemon of a car she had purchased and Ron and his pal were wondering why is this little girl under the hood in this parking lot! She was barely 5 feet tall and looked quite young. Betty was almost 20! Ron offered some mechanic services along with his friend. I think my sis thought this poor soldier is far away from home--did Grand Rapids MI sound distantly exotic? The friend disappeared and Ron asked my sis out and the rest was history! They were married for many decades. I often wondered if she had had a decent car would they have found each other!! Talk about lemonade out of a lemon!! He just wanted to help a damsel in distress and plus she was a cute young lady and Ron has always been a helpful gentle man and a gentleman! He'll be missed!
