Roy "Joe" Clifford Holland

Roy "Joe" Clifford Holland, age 75 of Greenback, TN passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024 with his loving family by his side. Joe served his country proudly in the United States Army for over 29 years. He was a member of the Kerbela Shriners, and a Mason, a member of the Greenback Rescue Squad, a member of Morganton Baptist Church of Greenback, worked as a contractor for Tennessee National Guard Family Readiness with the 278th. Armored Calvary Regiment for 14 years. Joe loved to fish, camp, his farm, but above all he loved spending time with his family. Joe was always willing to lend a hand no matter the cause.

He was preceded in passing by his mother and father Gladys Swafford and Clifford Holland; step-father, Ray Swafford; sons, CJ Holland and Justin Holland; grandson, Kyle Holland; nephew, Kevin Shope.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving and dedicated wife of 23 years Terressa Holland; sons, Scott (Jess) Holland, Jason (Linda) Holland; step-son, Jason (Brianna) Price; step-daughter, Deanna Evans; K-9 companion, Rowdy; sister, Peggy (Billy) Lovell, ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close cousins and friends a special friends Gail and Gene Hodge and Steve and Lynn Holland and his National Guard family.

The family will honor Joe with services at Sherwood Chapel & Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701 in the Good Shepherd Mausoleum Chapel on Saturday, February 17, 2024 with a visitation from 12:00pm to 2:00pm and a funeral service to follow, committal services will be in the Garden of Meditation at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Services will be officiated by Pastor Tommy Self. In lieu of flowers make a donation in Joe's honor to AMVETS Post 22, 232 S. Calderwood St., Alcoa, TN 37701 or Morganton Baptist Church, 4800 Sinking Creek Rd., Greenback, TN 37742.
