McHarge, Shirley Marie, age 78, of Rockford, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 22, 2015. Shirley was born in Seymour, Tennessee on August 18, 1936. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe McHarge; mother, Odella Caughron; father, James H. Whaley; brother, Robert Whaley. Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Linda and Ted Lewis; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Teresa Everett; daughter and son-in-law Karen and Bill Faries; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Wilhoite and Mary Ellen Terry; and brothers, James Whaley and Kenneth Whaley. Shirley also leaves behind numerous loving relatives and friends. Shirley touched the lives of many people with her smile, her kindness, and her passion for living life to the fullest every day. Family will receive friends on Friday February 27, 2015 from 1:30 PM until 3:30 PM at Sherwood Chapel with the service to follow at 3:30 PM, Rev. George R. Macht officiating.
