Terry Lee Rozelle

Terry is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Pat Rozelle; his son Craig Rozelle and daughter-in-law Andrea Rozelle. A graduate of Red Bank High School in Chattanooga, Terry went on to attend the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he proudly played in the marching band — the beginning of a lifelong passion for music and performance.

Terry dedicated his career to music education, serving as a band director in Knox County for many years, most notably at Powell High School. His students and colleagues remember him not only as a gifted teacher but also as an avid drummer whose enthusiasm for rhythm and musicianship inspired everyone around him.

The Rozelle family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate staff of Sacred Grounds Hospice House and UT Hospice Services for their exceptional care and kindness during Terry’s final days.

Terry will be remembered for his warmth, his dedication to his family, and the music he shared with so many.

The family will hold a service at a later date.
