Nella Helena Schella

Schella, Nella, August 30, 1929 - October 20, 2016. It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of our precious Mom, Oma, and Great Oma from a courageous, brief battle with undiagnosed lung cancer.

She was predeceased by her father, Arie Zwiep, mother, Stijnje (Koster); sister, Anne VanRheenen (Monsma) in Holland. In Canada, her beloved husband of fifty years, Edwin Schella.

Her Legacy lives on in her surviving family , Daughters: Crisia (Paul Heeres), Yolanda Schella, Carolin (Wayne Moorhouse); Grandkids: Kris Heeres (Meredith); Tanis Heeres (James); Pascal and Chantal Schella; Kate and Reid Moorhouse; and Great Grandkids: Ethan and AJ Heeres.

She will be dearly missed but we know her sparkly blue eyes are shining in the heavens as she sings and dances with Dad by her side.

Services will be held Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC 10 am; Viewing: 11am Service; Celebration of Life: followed by her Burial at Gardens of Gethsemani, 15800-32 Avenue, Surrey, BC.
