Sigrid Henriette (Inckemann) Smith

She came to Canada, from Germany, in 1957 and resided with her husband Ed and son Ralph in Sardis. She was predeceased by her husband Ed in 1998. In 1999 she moved to Yarrow to live with her son Ralph and daughter in law Colleen. She started attending the Yarrow M.B. Church, where she, upon confession of her faith in Jesus as her Lord and Saviour, was baptized in Nov., 2002. She found peace and life once again.

In 2008 she moved to Menno Place, where she met and married Roy Smith in 2010, who passed away in 2016. She was also predeceased by her son Ralph in July of 2022. Left to mourn the passing of Siggi are: daughter in law Colleen, grandchildren Sarah and Allen Wilson, Sam and Norah Ellison, numerous great grandchildren, as well as one brother and three sisters and many nephews and nieces; step children Jennifer and Rudy Dyck & family; Linda & Monty Armitage & family. Thank you to the staff at Menno Place, Abbotsford Hospital and Holmberg House Hospice for taking such good care of Siggi, we really appreciate you!

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at 11am, at Hazelwood Cemetery, 34070 Hazelwood Avenue, Abbotsford, BC.
